Location And Population.Located in the Southern Denver Metro Area, Centennial is Denver's newest metropolitan city. Incorporated by vote on September 12, 2000, Centennial is home to over 100,000 Colorado residents, making Centennial the fourth largest metro city of Denver. Bordered by Aurora, Greenwood Village, Littleton, Highlands Ranch, Lone Tree, and intersected by I-25, Centennial is in the center of some of the largest residential growth for Southern Denver Metro. Though just outside city limits, Centennial is only a heartbeat away from C-470 and adjacent E-470 tollway, giving fast and easy access to Littleton, Lakewood, Parker, and also the impressive Denver International Airport to the NorthEast.Outdoors And Entertainment.With fast and easy access to Cherry Creek Reservoir just Northeast, Centennial is a great place to live for those interested in water sports or open-park recreation.
